1. Columbus Short Gives Bizarre Interview To TJMS
This was undoubtedly the year that Columbus Short fell from grace, both professionally and to some, personally. With allegations of domestic abuse against his estranged wife Tanee McCall- Short, his release from the hit show ‘Scandal’ and several claims of assault at various bars, the actor hasn’t had a pleasant 2014. But it was the wildly bizarre interview he gave to The Tom Joyner Morning Show in April that made us scratch our heads in confusion.
2. Robin Thicke Talks ‘Paula’ and…Paula
Robin Thicke has had a rough year. He and his wife, actress Paula Patton, split up and the ensuing attention as he was trying hard to reconcile wasn’t too positive. He talked to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about Paula, the album and Paula, the woman.
3. Sherri Shepherd’s Divorce Drama
It would be an understatement to say that Sherri Shepherd hasn’t had the best year thus far. Both her ex-husband and current, estranged husband are suing her – the ex for a reconsideration of their custody agreement, the estranged for divorce and custody of their unborn child by surrogate. She talked to Tom, Sybil and J. Anthony Brown about the details in one of her most personal interviews ever!
4. Pastor Jamal Bryant Defends His ‘Hoes Ain’t Loyal’ Sermon
Roland Martin talked to Pastor Jamal D. Bryant after a controversial line in a sermon he preached caught wind and offended many. Titled “I’m My Enemies Worst Nightmare: Part 1″, Bryant references singer Chris Brown popular song “Loyal” and recites the songs chorus, ‘these hoes ain’t loyal’ in the pulpit. 5. Porsha and Tom Get Married!
