Here are the Obi Obadike’s Top Four fitness and nutrition tips!
1. The two best appetite suppressants when you are hungry late at night are drinking water and eating vegetables. Vegetables are high in nutrients and low in calories and along with water, will help you to make you feel fuller and curb any hunger issues you may have late at night.
2. You can eat “cheat” meals weekly and still maintain your shape if you maintain the 90/10 rule which is eating healthy 90 percent of the time and cheating 10 percent of the time. The best time to eat a cheat meal is after you work-out because your body will absorb it better in terms of the the extra fat and calories. You also need to make sure that when you eat cheat meals that the size of the cheat meal is reasonable. It should be no bigger than the size of the palm of your hand. Portion sizes matter even with a cheat meal.
3. For optimal fitness, cardiovascular and weight-training are both equally important and you shouldn’t neglect either of them from a weight-loss and weight management perspective. With cardio, you burn optimal calories immediately but with weight training you burn calories after the workout. Combining them together on a weekly basis you will burn the most calories which will help to build and tone and ultimately will help to speed up your metabolism
4. It’s important to make sure that you do your weight-training first before you do your cardio. If you do your cardio before you weight-train, it will zap your energy and prevent you from being able to effectively complete your weight-training workout.
