A computer virus is no joke. One minute you’re watching your favorite show on Netflix and the next thing you know the dreaded blue screen of death takes your computer and you realize you have a virus.

The solution? You go and buy anti-virus software but the cost is so high sometimes that you think twice before purchasing. Even worse, the virus protection lasts about as long as it took for you to think about getting it in the first place. For many small businesses who need to save all their pennies paying for a monthly subscription can be tough.

However, one Atlanta businessman has changed that by offering customers affordable anti-virus software to keep their homes and businesses safe, according to Black News.

Joel Udotong is the founder of Blue Jade Services, a three-year-old anti-virus software company. From his business, customers can order many kinds of cloud security solutions like ESET, AVG, Boost, Avast, Symantec and Trend Micro.  You call them, tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll send you a product key for the software, instructions for download or free remote installation.

A 24-year-old from Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria, Udotong is currently studying computer science at Chattahoochee College.

“They don’t have to go to the stores just for anti-virus software. They can just order from our website and the item is delivered in less than 30 minutes,” explained Udotong. “This saves people time, gas and money.”

Growing up around computers, Udotong originally started his company off as a mobile computer repair but saw the need for businesses and everyday people when it came to software. In 2018 he partnered with major companies Symantec, Kaspersky, ESET, and others to turn the need into a solution.

With only 5 employees Blue Jade Services is dedicated to serving each of its customers to the best of their ability. The Better Bureau of Atlanta gave them a 5-star rating.
