Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan sill lives with his parents and he’s not ashamed of it. reports that the 30-year-old, although not ashamed, can sometimes have embarrassing run-ins while living at home.

On The Ellen Show he says , “I love my parents but we have a roommate relationship right now, which is interesting.”

He continues, “You get home-cooked meals, but then you also have those random trips to the kitchen in the middle of the night, and just the random run-ins that just might be a little uncomfortable from time to time.”

Knowing Ellen DeGeneres,, of course she tried to dig a little deeper for more details. She asked if any of the run-ins happened without clothes. Jordan replies,” Sometimes shirtless. Maybe a little naked!”

You’d think he’d want to get up and get out of his parent’s house quickly at this point. He did not hesitate when DeGeneres asked when he was planning to move. “Immediately. As soon as I can,” Jordan said.

Some people say that living with your parents can sink your social life, but for Jordan it’s that and the crazy workout regimen he has to do for Black Panther.

“I would workout 2 to 3 times a day, eat six times a day,” explained Jordan. It’s hard to go out to a club or a party when you have to do meal prep. It’s tough to socialize when you have to get in shape like that.”

His excessive workout days are not behind him, because he now has to get in shape to film Creed 2.

  1. Our 32 yr old lives with us. We have a roommate situation – she pays her share of the mortgage and buys groceries from time to time. Cleans, cook and anything else we need. She has her own area of the house where she entertains – and we have no issues with any of it. We all benefit from our living arrangements. We leave it strictly up to her when and if she decides to move out

  2. My dad had to put me out at 33 yrs old. I had a degree, good job, car and enjoying mom’s home cooked meals. He told me one day you’re not going to learn how to take care of yourself, Go, and don’t ask your mom if you can stay. Best dad ever, he knew it was time and he was right, so stay Michael as long as you can, You and your folks will know when it’s REALLY time to go.I’m now an Attorney. Thanks DAD!!

Why is he there tho? He certainly can afford his own place, maybe he’s there to help them and protect them from human predators and vultures. Those primates who feed off people and know they have a famous or rich son and want to take advantage. I don’t care if he lives them forever, or at least until he’s married and has his own family, his choice.
