Protesters will meet in front of the NFL headquarters in New York today in support of Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick who played for the San Francisco 49ers in the 2016-2017 NFL season protested against police brutality in each of his games by taking a knee during the playing of the national anthem. In an interview with Kaepernick said, “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.”

After protesting, Kaepernick has not been allowed to play in the NFL and has since had issues getting onto teams because of his silent protest. Other NFL players have shown their support for Kaepernick and his protest like the Cleveland Browns. 13 players took a knee during the playing of the national anthem in their game against the New York Giants.

The New York Justice league led by activist Tamika Mallory is holding ” United We Stand” rally in protest against the NFL black balling Kaepernick. Mallory is known for leading the Women’s March in Washington D.C.

Other protests will be going on today all over the country in support of Colin Kaepernick and against the NFL. According to 11 Alive News in Atlanta, protesters will meet a Morris Brown College to show their support.

  1. Good, I hope they march all the way to the NFL commissioner’s office and chew his ass out!!!!!!!!!

I won’t be watching any NFL games this season-nor the SUPERBOWL until Colin is on a new
    NFL team!!!!!!!!!!!

Folks need to BOYCOTT THE NFL and hit them where it hurts-in their pockets!!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t buy ANY TICKETS-don’t GO TO ANY NFL GAMES. Let the stadiums be empty!!!!!!!!

  2. Joe Gonzales on said:

70% of the NFL is black over thousands of millionaire black football players have become wealthy playing NFL football including Colin Kaepernick was worth at least 60 million dollars. I don’t feel sorry for calling Kaepernick and I don’t see any NFL owner that are going to knuckle under stupid pressure by ignorant people who don’t realize then Colin Kaepernick has been replaced but other black quarterbacks true black quarterbacks. Colin Kaepernick was fathered by a black pimp in Milwaukee Wisconsin and a white young prostitute who gave Colin Kaepernick up for adoption to a white upper middle class white family that spoiled Colin give them all the advantages that any other one child would be envious of. Colin does not come from a disadvantaged background his white parents too good care of him and even gave the him their last name. With all these white people he would have been a nobody just by racial child smoking dope and maybe dead somewhere on the streets of Milwaukee. So all this victimizing Colin Kaepernick is nothing but laughable jokes. I am more concerned that are struggling to get a job and not for a multi-millionaire like biracial Kaepernick

  3. Yes they will go on but I won’t be watching. Totally NOT interested in the nfl right now and I put it in lower case intentionally and on purpose. The nfl basically represents a modern day slave plantation caught on camera for the entire world to see. The rich and wealthy team owners represent the slave masters, the coaches and GM’s their slave watchmen, and of course the players 95% of them “BLACK” represents the SLAVES busy at work performing to please their masters. Kaepernick took a stand and YES he knew it was a huge risk involved in doing so, just like many of my ancestors did when they decided to make an escape off the plantation or sneak away to learn how to read etc. All our decisions come with a certain level of risks. However, he did NOT allow the oppression and intimidation to sway him from doing what he knew HAD to be done. That’s courage that’s bravery that is what a TRUE leader does! But of course just like he expected the slave masters were extremely upset about it and have vowed to “make him pay”. Now, this is 2017 and they can’t lynch him, or beat him, or cut half his foot off to limit his ability of future escape and bring punishment. So what could they do? Blackball him to teach this BOY to “STAY IN HIS PLACE”! My mother has a saying…”It’s sad but true” and so it is in the case of Colin Kaepernick. Every excuse can be made possible as to why he is NOT currently a starting QB in the nfl but there is only ONE true reason why. He sat and kneeled for the injustice brought to a specific group of people that he himself is a part of and spoke volumes without saying a word. Who would have thought that such a simple gesture would make a wave as great as the MOVEMENT he has started that goes so far beyond football. Over 750 people were killed by police this year already and people have a nerve to be upset with one man who peacefully took a stance against it. Yet we have a POTUS in office who took a stance to defend neo-Nazis, white supremacist, and KKK members in the innocent death of an honest American citizen who was displaying her freedom of speech. Meanwhile, police stood by and made no attempt to intervene. That part is a damn shame! I support CK and I support the MOVEMENT.
