We’re not sure if it’s completely in protest to the Giuliana Rancic/Zendaya dust up or she just thought it was time to split, but Kelly Osbourne has quit the E! style series “Fashion Police” after five years. Now the question is who will replace her?

A source tells Us Weekly that both Khloe Kardashian and NeNe Leakes may be in the running.

BTW, the Rancic/Zendaya controversy could’ve been avoided completely we hear.

“They did the Zendaya segment three times,” an insider previously told Us Weekly. “Three different takes. On the first two takes, Kelly said ‘Guys, we can’t say this. Zendaya is a friend of the show.’” (An E! rep denied that there were three takes, saying, “There was only one take of Giuliana’s comments. Kelly did let the group know Zendaya is a friend of hers.”)

The joke was kept in, however, and Rancic later apologized for the hurtful comment. To make matters worse, Rancic’s friend Billy Bush later slammed Osbourne for supposedly throwing Rancic under the bus.

On Friday, E! announced Osbourne’s departure and stated that there are no plans to replace her. However, Kardashian and Leakes have been suggested. Meanwhile, Us is reporting that it is “very possible” Kardashian will join the show.

“She was supposed to do it last time and passed. She may consider doing it again but the offer would have to be really high,” the insider says. “It’s a lot of extra work for her.”

As far as Leakes is concerned, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star appeared on “Fashion Police” as a guest in 2013. Then, in September 2014, it was rumored that she would replace the late Joan Rivers, a spot that eventually went to comedienne Kathy Griffin.

So, what are your thoughts on the situation? NeNe or Khloe?
