George Zimmerman is no stranger to making bold — and stupid! — moves, so when he recently signed up for a celebrity boxing match we were not surprised (although the fact that this murderer and the promoter, Damon Feldman, think he’s a “celebrity” is baffling).
According to reports, Travyon Martin’s killer agreed to step into the ring and donate his earnings to charity. His opponent has yet to be selected, but rapper The Game told TMZ that he’d love to “beat the f**k out of him.”
“I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family,” said Game, who has a tattoo of the slain 17-year-old on his leg. “I would box him to knock him out.”
“I would definitely take pleasure in it,” he added. “It’s legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon.”
The fight is scheduled to go down on March 1 and the organizers are reportedly taking offers for an opponent at: email firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll keep you posted as more details arise. But in the meanwhile, leave your thoughts about Zimmerman’s participation below.
