Author Zane to Pen Script for Aaliyah Feature Film Approved by Family
It seems like Aaliyah’s family is about to give the Lifetime network a run for their money when it comes to the late singer’s biopic, and Aaliyah’s family has just upped the ante. According to Sister2Sister, Barry Hankerson, Aaliyah’s uncle and former manager, has tapped erotic fiction writer Zane to pen the script for the feature film. The film is expected to hit theaters in 2015, as opposed to Lifetime’s version only being showed on the small screen. Read more.
