Listen Live

Charley’s exposure of the crooked cop has gone viral. Kudos to her for exposing this loathsome man. But Davis wonders if that’s been the best thing for Micah, who may have to relive his trauma now that the cop has been identified. Good point, Davis, and one that Charley has overlooked.

Ralph Angel and Blue have been pulled along by Hollywood for the shopping spree, cause Aunt Vi gotta find a place to cook those pies. Blue is acting so bad, any parent would want to give him and old-school whooping. He’s definitely trying Ralph Angel, but so is the store security guard when Ralph Angel almost snatches Blue up in public. Really, dude? You ain’t never seen a parent have to go there? Mind yours.

Charley and Ralph Angel are bonding over their shared romantic and parenting frustrations. Ralph has been Charley’s biggest supporter over her ‘Godfather’ scheming on the Boudreaux/Landry situation. It’s good to see them become allies instead of enemies. But maybe Charley has a new ally – she cute-meets a new man, Romero. Is this the first sign of a new romance? So what happens with Remy? When Charley sees how beautiful Micah’s photography is, she relents and will let him attend a public school. This should be interesting….!

Now that Aunt Vi has found a way to cook all those pies by agreeing to donate 10% of profits to the church, the family wants to celebrate. But look at this – those pies are not where they are supposed to be. They should be prominently displayed but are not. Aunt Vi is pissed. She didn’t work hard her whole life to see her dreams go to dust now that it looks like she’s winning. She moves those pies and yes, we can completely understand. Just like we understand why Nova finally quits the paper. Go head and get that Ta-Nehesi Coates book deal money, girl!

See you next week, sugar babies! How do you like this new season so far?
