In other news, please don’t hold your breath waiting for another installment of the highly successful Bad Boys franchise that starred Martin Lawrence and Will Smith.

After reportedly being in the works for months, and after losing a director AND a release date, most likely the film will ever make it to theaters.

“I don’t [think] we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out,” Lawrence tells EW. “Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

OK, so what the heck happened? It was just last year that Smith said Bad Boys 3 was “very, very, very close” to happening. On top of that, Bad Boys 4 was already set for 2019.

We’re not giving up ’cause with all the money this franchise has made so far, there’s still hope. Right?

They need to drop this idea all together. Martin, unfortunately, has been washed up for years. And Will hasn’t made a really good movie in years, if ever. Sorry BB 3 = bad idea.

  2. I still have hope. The original BAD BOY’S is my all time fav comedy tho lol. I hope it will work out… “We ride together we die together Bad Boy’s for life”

Naw, I think he did something more recent, it was him and a bunch of colorful, criminal mis-fits, I can’t think of the movie’s name right now.

Let this one go. BB II was AWSOME and can’t be topped, I don’t think a third movie will have the same energy. They waited way too long to do this with these two stars, imo, it won’t be as successful, people will be disappointed, and this will end on a bad note. I’m sorry because I was so hoping they would have done another one a lot sooner.
