R. Kelly has scrapped several dates on his U.S. tour following allegations that he’s holding a number of young women in a sex “cult” (a claim he denies).

Three concerts are confirmed cancellations, and at least one other show is in doubt, according to Billboard.

Ticketmaster’s website reveals the singer’s upcoming After Party tour dates are canceled at UNO Lakefront Arena, New Orleans (Aug. 11), Raising Cane’s River Center Arena, Baton Rouge; and Music Hall at Fair Park, Dallas. At time of writing, the remaining seven shows are slated to go ahead as planned.

Kelly last hit the stage at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach on Friday for his first performance since the sex cult scandal surfaced. The venue, according to TMZ, appeared to be at below half-capacity in the hours leading up to the show and the website blames slow ticket sales for the latest cancellations.

It is so sad to have so much talent and to be messed up in the head. There are a lot of old men who love young girls because they can control them. The men who do this can not handle a real woman so they prey on the young girls. Go in any gas station to see the older men hanging around to see the young cashiers. They don’t have enough self respect to do the work to be with an older woman simply because they have nothing to offer to a woman.

Sooner or later there is a tipping point where the nastiness outweighs the talent. He’s there and I’m done. Once more, R. Kelly has stepped in the name of all that is perverse. Ewww!!!!

He lost me as a fan after the Aaliyah controversy. Pissing on the other little girl was just a disgrace especially when he has all of these real grown women that are willing to do anything he asks. A pretty sick individual.

It appears that R. Kelly and his lawyer has spoken out about the allegations against R.Kelly, and consenting females.
In my opinion, if the concerned parties have evidence supporting their allegations, they should present it formally, in a court of law, before a judge and jury. If not, then, R. Kelly should charge them with slanderous malicious misconduct against him. But this needs to be solved either way, so all can get back to their lives.

I agree. I also agree R Kelly if this is not true should have a press conference and address this issue. That is what people who have nothing to hide do when they are accused.
