The illness itself may make her resist treatment, so it’s not a “want to do better “. Unfortunately something tragic has to happen to make her get treatment. I pray she can get clear long enough to go to a facility. Thanks Todd for trying to stand in.

It’s very sad and tragic…such a beautiful young woman. I can see L.L. being concerned for his co-star/friend. Unfortunately if someone is in desperate need of help and does nothing to get help…there isn’t much you can do. The most L.L. can do is step off and let her be. When she is ready to conform she will. It sounds as if she went back to the same crowd who is involved with that lifestyle. If you are trying to stay away from it…you have to stay away from people who are indulging in it…it is called temptation. There are other cultures who no doubt want to see her downfall. Hollywood is not all it’s cracked up to be. You have to watch out for everything and everyone. If you make a friend or friends who have your best interest like L.L. it is a blessing! At this point…she doesn’t have a clue. Prayers go out to her and anyone who is suffering, indulging in this behavior. I know she has mental problems as well.

How loving of Todd to seek her out! His compassion is unmeasurable! Praying she takes his help and gets it together. I’ll be praying for her.

Her mother, BeBe Moore Campbell wrote a book called, 72hr. hold. Describing her daughters mental health and her having to care for her. Very good book. Her mom died years ago.

  5. Mental health and drugs is a HORRIBLE combination…..however, pray and the power of the HOLY SPIRIT is a HEALING combination. May GOD bless your efforts LL!!!….SMH!!

SN: I’m not sure if the dude filming her was trying to shame her or not, but that just may be the wake-up call she needs. Her life is not over until God says so and every morning when she wakes up, he’s giving her another chance to get it right. She can do it; she has to want it more than she wants the way things are now. Get it girl.

  7. Oh god that was sad. Bipolar is real, I wish this lady would to get it together. The help she needs is out there and has been offered, she just has to be committed to it. I can’t really feel sorry for her, but it is heartbreaking watching that video.

In order to get help, you have to want the help. It does not matter if it is LL, Fix my life show, doctors, drug advisors, etc. They can not help you if you do not take it.

This is so sad. I was really rooting for Maia when she was on “From The Bottom Up”. I only saw one episode but it was nice seeing that she was getting back on track. Instead of filming her, this dude could have offered a word of encouragement. Instead, he chose to try to shame her even more. If this was his sister, he would not want someone doing this to her. Pray for her!!!

I disagree. I think the guy wanted others to see this so someone else could possibly reach out and help her. If he had not filmed her no one would be talking about her issue right now. Hopefully someone that she respects and trust enough will reach her before it’s too late.

When you have a mental health disorder, the struggle is real. I hope she is able to find an effective treatment plan, and the support she needs to stay on it. Unless things change for her, I just don’t see a positive end to this story.
