Fishburne was charged with DUI, DUI with property damage and DUI with blood alcohol readings above .15. When all three charges are added up, Montana is looking at a maximum of three years in state prison.
A Fort Lauderdale, Florida resident, Montana was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol troopers Saturday morning, March 11, 2017 after an accident on I-95 and spent the night in a Broward County Sheriff’s Office jail.
The Daily Mail report details that Fishburne was driving a white Toyota Corolla on the six-lane interstate in Fort Lauderdale about 1 a.m. when she rear-ended a Range Rover that slowed down to avoid a previous accident. Fishburne’s car sustained extensive damages and she was not injured.
But when the trooper approached Fishburne, he writes in his report, he smelled a strong odor of alcohol on her breath.
“I noticed an open bottle of wine on the rear left floor, and the two front seats were splashed with a purple liquid with a strong odor of alcohol,” the trooper wrote on the report first obtained by DailyMail.com.
He also reported Fishburne was “incoherent” while walking around the accident scene.
“Subject (Fishburne) was moving around constantly and was making incoherent statements such as her driver’s license being different if I was to arrest her,” the report reads.
Oh Lord, check this out. The report also mentions that she then squatted and urinated on the shoulder of the interstate as rescue personnel and police were busy clearing the accident.
It will come as no surprise that the paperwork also shows Fishburne failed a series of field sobriety tests.
In any event, she was released Saturday afternoon on $2,500 bond.
Several years ago, at 19, Montana said she was inspired by Kim Kardashian’s successful sex tape to be a porn star, a decision that didn’t end well. It ended up alienating her from her father.
“He told me he was embarrassed by me,” Montana told The Hollywood Reporter in 2011.
As far as her porn career is concerned, she gave that up and has been working as a stripper. She’s been living in Fort Lauderdale since 2014.
