We’re not sure how we feel about this.
According to Variety, Norman Lear and Sony are discussing bringing back some of his classic shows but with today’s actors.
That would include both iconic black series Good Times and The Jeffersons:
The idea currently being discussed by Lear and Sony executives would be to have new actors recreate classic episodes of the shows, working from the original scripts, and package them as short, six-episode anthologies.
Our vote is to keep these classics untouched, what do you think?
