Angie Stone is part of the cast of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, playing at the Music Hall in Detroit, November 17th – 20th.


She talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the importance of the play and why she believes every young woman should see it.

“I find myself within three of these characters. I’m the lady in purple. Its a riveting monologue. It’s intense,” she said. “When you see some of these performances you will not go out the same way you came in.”
