The president’s wide variety of musical tastes are on full display through his selections, which range from classic 60s tunes to today’s hip hop and R&B, to…Fiona Apple.
By day, POTUS is all about Leon Bridges, Nas & Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Aloe Blacc, Nina Simone, Prince, Aretha Franklin and the Beach Boys, as well as Jidenna, Courtney Barnett, Jay Z and Wale, to name a few.
When the sun goes down and it’s time to either turn up or get cozy with someone, the President turns to Chance the Rapper, Tower of Power, Chrisette Michele, D’Angelo, Billie Holliday and Ledisi among many others.
Listen to Obama’s full playlist, in order, on Spotify.
