Afrika Bambaataa who is credited as a founder of Hip-Hop, has recently been accused of molestation by multiple men.
Bambaataa sat down exclusively with Lisa Evers, FOX 5 Reporter and Host of “Street Soldiers” to discuss these allegations. He claims he “never abused nobody.”
On the sexual abuse allegations from decades ago:
“I never abused nobody”
Bambaataa’s response to the sex abuse allegations:
“I was saying like, ‘wow, why now?’”
On how he reacted when he heard the allegations:
“It was definitely hurting and definitely crazy to hear this now when i was doing so many other works in the community at the time.”
On those who are spreading the accusations:
“Many of the people never want to speak to my other members who were of that era. They just going along with he say, she say….what they call gossip.”
On the chaos surrounding the organization he founded:
“I will always carry the banner and flag of the universal Zulu Nation.”
