Kobe Bryant revealed his wife Vanessa miscarried in the midst of his rape case back in 2004. He blames himself for the family tragedy, according to TMZ.

Bryant opened up during a segment part of his documentary, “Muse.” And although he never mentions the case, it’s clear he’s referring to that period in his life.

“We were expecting … and um … expecting our second child during that time … and there was just so much stress, she actually, she actually miscarried.”

“It’s something … I have a real hard time dealing with that ’cause I felt like it was just my fault,” he added.

Kobe continued with, “The reality is it happened because of me … that’s something I have to deal with. Something I gotta carry forever.”

He’s happy his wife didn’t leave him during that period of time and had taken half of his money. Instead, she decided to stay and make it work.

kobefan, 100% We all fall short of the glory of GOD. Except those few hypocrites outthere who say it could never happen to them. I am not necessarily a Laker fan but this isnt about sports. It,s about a man and a woman who dont leave at the drop of a dime as some might suggest. I wish nothing butthe best for Kobe, post basketball and for his family as well.

100% TK and kobefan! I’m somewhat of a Laker fan, they’ve produced some of my favorite players, not so much right now, but they’ll be back lol. But I am a huge Kobe fan, (my husband hates him but I don’t let him talk about him, I check ‘em immediately LOL, btw it doesn’t stop him tho). Anyway, I wish him and his family the best and we ALL fall short even the ones who thinks their sugar honey ice tea don’t stink.

Mistakes…we’ve all made them. Go be happy Kobe and Family, I wish you nothing but joy and happiness and although you may face troubled times, keep seeking God for the answers and you’ll weather the storms.
