There are some places where selfies just aren’t appropriate – and Al Roker has found this out the hard way.
The NBC weatherman has apologized for snapping a grinning selfie in front of the devastation caused by catastrophic weather in South Carolina.
The “Today” personality tweeted a photo of himself and NBC colleagues wearing rain gear and smiling in front of a portion of collapsed highway and a wrecked car.
Roker apologized and deleted the pic after he Twitter dragged him for being insensitive.
“We came down to report and I offended those who lost so much. I am sorry,” Roker added.
Should he have had to apologize or are we too sensitive?
