As Lolo Jones is proving, not everyone is a fan of “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

According to TMZ.com, the U.S. Olympian and self-proclaimed virgin took to Twitter to encourage folks to boycott the hit film.

The reason? In Jones’ eyes, the big screen adaptation of E.L. James’ bestselling novel glamorizes unholy sex.

“Funny how some people think there’s nothing wrong with 50 shades of Grey. God didn’t create sex for that purpose,” Jones, a devout Evangelical Christian, tweeted.“Watch another movie,” she added.

Jones went on to mention that “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” hypersexual plot makes people feel that sex for pleasure is the answer to emotional pain, TMZ noted.

“Some ppl medicate pain by being more and more physical to where if they are ever alone they can’t feel any peace,” she wrote.

Jones’ comments conflict with her fellow devout Christian Russell Wilson, who had nothing put praise for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” as he confessed to seeing it last week and stating that it’s OK to view the movie he labeled as “great.”

  1. Lolo Jones like attention. She’s never received an Olympic medal yet she gets more attention and media coverage than any other athlete. Although, I have nothing against her personally, why did she choose this movie to boycott when there’s movies and TV programs glorying this everyday. Just wondering…….

  2. I believe in refraining from sex until marriage as well but I don’t impose my views on others like Lolo. If those are your views fine but People can spend their money any way they choose. I’m 19 hopefully I wont be 30 something and still an unmarried virgin as Ms. Jones. (-:
