It appears Bobby Brown is having problems controlling certain family members from blabbing to the press about Bobbi Kristina Brown, so he’s asking the press to refrain talking to them.

The reality of relatives speaking to reporters without Brown’s permission about his comatose daughter’s condition is borne out in conflicting reports about her current status and future.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family. The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised,” Brown’s legal counsel, Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, said in a statement to Extra.

“Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them,” the statement said.

“In particularly, Jerod Brown aka Jerod Carter aka YF Kennedy, continues to makes statements and appear on television, however, he has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family. He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any ‘meet and greet’ organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show. … We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina and God is hearing our prayers.”

Praise God that this child is holding fast to the Hand that will again bring her where she needs to be. I am so proud of her Dad and how he has stepped up and into the whole process of her care and intercede for her with the medical decisions. Prayers will work to guide you Bobby Brown on the path that is needed. I will continue to pray for you, your child and the other family (Houstons) that love her too.

  2. The media to stop talking to family members is not going to happen. This is the world we live in the one the Brown family was instrumental in creating. Wake up Bobby…the media is only interested in the low of the lows and the high of the highs…..there’s no inbetween for the media and you got a social media hungry public ready to comment at the beep of an iphone. The other problem is that family members are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. They are thinking this might just lead to my own reality show……Sad but that’s the way of the world…….Sad that your baby girl is in this predicament but that’s due to your allowing outsiders and the media to raise her. SAD

  3. He need to restrict those family members from the hospital. By him being her father he can put that request in and the hospital will honor that.

You are correct to ask, but it will never happen. the media is no different than prostitutes who walk the boulevard. The only thing missing is the high heels and fishnet stockings, but they still run up to your car the same way. Plus, all the haters on this post who are saying nasty things about you is the reason TMZ and everybody keeps chasing your family. deep down they know some people just like to wallow in dookey and negativity.

  5. The fight broke out during Bobby Browns birthday party. Nobody, in their right mind would be thinking about partying while their daughter/love on is fighting for their lives. The family is asking for people to pray, well, they need to do the same.

  6. Mr. Brown… Put your family and whoever else in check. TJMS stop reporting what TMZ and other media outlets are saying about this matter. Be smart for change and keep the family in your prayers!

Some of those family members should have stayed home. It’s one thing to be famous and have reporters around all the time but it’s another thing for your immediate family to keep speaking with the media against your wishes. On top if that fighting at the hotel. Super ghetto. Bobby has a lot to deal with and they are not helping the situation at.all.

  8. Bobby Brown, need to shut up, and focus on his daughter. This man has been in show buisness for years, so, he knows how it goes, like it or not, celebrities don’t have private lives, and he knows that, unfortunately, that’s the price you pay when you want to be rich, and famous.
