Why is this considered an either/ or issue? One not providing for their own is an unique slaveholders children’s inheritance being blocked by laws United States of America problem. According to 1st Timothy 5:8 Apostle Paul speaks on the care of others- “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” They are not a Christian if they don’t provide for their own!! They are worse than one who does not believe that Jesus is LORD!

  3. I always find it so strange that women are usually painted as people who only care about the money and not the wellbeing of their child(ren). It’s been my experience that single mothers understand the importance of a father figure and want the presence of both parents in their child(ren)’s lives. Maintenance and visitation are two separate issues. Maintenance is about financial responsibility towards the child and visitation spiritual and emotional responsibility towards the child.

For a lot of baby momma’s, and that’s what they are, especially if they want child support verses the child’s father being around . They think the money is for them. Now when both parents want the best for their child and can work together, I applaud them. Their interest is truly their child. Some women have babies for a living, just to get it. The child is affected all the way around. Just sayin!!
I’d rather see the parents try and work together the the sake of their child.

Child support is intended to offset the finanical obligation of the absent parent not being in the home. Children don’t care if the absent parent has being paying their child support or if they are in the arrears. The only person bothered by it is the custodian parent. The absent may be behind a day or two and the absent will make it a point in letting the child(ren) know.

While money helps, I would prefer if the absent parent was more available in their child(ren) lives.
