Actor Shemar Moore is known for starring in the hit crime drama “Criminal Minds” and his former role on the daytime soap opera “The Young & the Restless.” He also made a name for himself as a Hollywood playboy who has dated his fair share of quality beauties. Two of his most high-profile relationships were with Toni Braxton and Halle Berry. In a recent interview with BET, Moore opened up about the times he spent with both women and revealed which relationship helped him grow as a man and which one was just for fun. Take a look at an excerpt:

[Toni Braxton] was my first Hollywood relationship. I was a baby, I did not know s***. I had just graduated from college, I had no money and I was on Young and the Restless. She called my agent when she was shooting a video in Miami, and it just went from there. I was like the little kid who found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It was a wild ride with Toni. She would never sing for me, though. That always bothered me.

When asked about Halle Berry, Moore responded:

She was the first woman to really knock my socks off. I fell hard for Halle. A lot of people now know we dated, but we had to keep it hush-hush at the time because she was fresh off her divorce from David Justice. I’m still grateful for that relationship. I was smitten not just because of who she was, but because we were so similar in so many ways. She was biracial, she was kind of going through the same things I was in Hollywood. Toni was a fun ride, but Halle was a necessary experience. It made me much stronger as a man, and knowing the caliber of woman I want in the future.

Men, if you had to choose which woman you would spend the rest of your life with based on Shemar Moore’s thoughts about the women, who would you choose? Honestly, I’m going with Toni Braxton. Halle Berry is gorgeous, but I have a feeling there might be a wealth of crazy underneath it all.

I think that both celeberty’s mentioned are beautiful women. Way above average and I would imagine that Shemar is probably popular with the ladies himself. But if I had to choose between the two ladies I would have a hard time with hat. As a matter of fact, once back in the late 80s, I’d been to a Keith Sweat concert in my hometown. Toni Braxton was the opening act. I had front row seats and had been thrilled to see her finally in person. She is gorgeous. However I had been extreamely[sic] surprised to see that she was only about 5’2 or 5’5 at the most. I’ve read that Halle B. is around the same height. I had also been suprised to hear from a few bouncer friends that I’d had back then that Toni diva attitude/stank was at an all time high. I am sure that we all see Halles business in the news everyday. Why doe?
Afterwards I’d been talking to another friend of mine who been trying his had at acting. He’d moved out to Hollywood and had done a few movies as an extra. He’d said, upon his return, that he’d had difficulty finding work because all of the Hollywood actors are short. He’d said that they only hire actors of similar height and that is why he had to come home. My friend is 6’4. Now previous to any of that my only dipiction of these two ladies came from what I’d seen on television. On TV these two women look 6 feet tall. Could you imagine Halle Berrie, with that body, at 6’0? Wow. Anyway, as it’d appeared, neither performer seem to be short on cash at the time and thus their attitudes seemed to fit the situation. I cannot understand why folks choose to ignore that. Its like trying to compare Pam Greer[sic] to Lauren Hill; lol. Come on.
Yes I believe that both celeberties are drop dead gorgeous but I ain’t going crazy over nobody I can’t look in the eyes. Like Tyra Banks. Tyra, I think, is the finest women on the planet. No disrespect intended. And she seems to have a great personality. I’d choose her over anyone; lol. Smooches.
