As I look at the calendar, I know that we are a mere days away from the beginning of summer. And even though I have not reached my weight loss goal, I’m not ready to throw in the towel.

How about you? Are you struggling as well? I think I did okay on the cruise, but not great. While I did not walk on the track everyday, when time permitted, I did walk up and down the stairs. The food was very good, but I did exercise portion control. My biggest challenge is eating enough throughout the day. I must admit: Some nights when I think it’s too late to really eat, but I need something, I will resort to a couple of olives and a handful of almonds — no martini, thank you very much.

Now that we are back at work, it’s easier to get back into a routine. But it’s still a struggle. That’s where teamwork comes into play. If we have other friends and family as members of Team Sybil, we are able to get the support needed when we are weak and, in my case, get lazy. When one member is down, the others will pull us up … and vice versa.
