  • The third season of “The Rickey Smiley Show” will premiere on TV One this Friday, April 4th at 9 pm EST/8 pm CST.

The sitcom stars the radio personality as Rickey Smiley, a character loosely based on his own life as a popular Atlanta DJ. Smiley’s character is also a single father to three children trying to parent and still have a personal life while dealing with the crazy dynamic of work.

Ray J, J. Anthony Brown, Lil JJ, Roz Ryan, Noree Victoria and Demetria McKinney join the funny man that creates a hilarious, yet very real reality.

Season one introduced appearances from hilarious alter egos made popular by the star in his radio and TV routines, including church lady Sister Bernice Jenkins, gospel crooner Joe Willie, and Rickey’s Southern Baptist church leader, Pastor Watkins.

One of Smiley’s most famous personas Lil’ Darryl, a boy in coke-bottle glasses who’s been in the fourth grade for nearly 12 years, made his debut on season two.

We can hardly wait to see what season three will bring.
