During the farewell panel for 'Star Trek' icon Nichelle Nichols on Sunday at Comic-Con LA, NASA Astronaut Appearance Specialist Denise Young bestowed her with the space agency’s NASA Exceptional Public Achievement Medal for her decades-long commitment to diversifying NASA.
