Josh Williams, a defensive back from Fayetteville State projected to be selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, told NewsOne in an exclusive interview that he wants to "rewrite what people think about HBCUs and their athletes."

After no HBCU players were selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, Deion Sanders is hoping to change that after hosting a HBCU Pro Day this past Monday. However, the two-time Super Bowl champ took some time to call out 10 teams in specific that didn't feel it was necessary to send out a representative.


The NFL draft will be conducted in a virtual format, with team personnel working from their homes.
