Judge Colvin is part of an intervention program called “Consider the Consequences” for at-risk teens. Her speech to those troubled teenagers went viral after it was posted on line last week. You could see it in his face – hear it in his voice – something he most likely has never ever contemplated. Anderson Cooper: “When was the last time you actually apologized for something?” Donald Trump: “Oh wow. ((Audience laughs)) No I do… I don’t know… can I think? But look I do believe in […]

For weeks now we have watched former wrestling icon Hulk Hogan try to take down media giant Gawker.com over his private sex tape which they published. Tens of millions of dollars were on the line, 100 million to be exact. But by the time the jury made up its mind, not only did they rule […]

Can we please talk about Katt Williams? I’m seriously worried about him. He’s barely out of jail and appears to be already spiraling out of control once again. Video of a fight that he appears to have started by punching someone in the face just a few days ago has already gone viral. “You […]

The presidential candidates are everywhere – debates, forums, town halls, rallies – EVERYWHERE. You cannot turn on the TV, especially cable news, without seeing them. Just last night there were extended interviews with John Kasich, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump on Fox News. CNN, last night, had extended interviews with all of the candidates, […]

With every week that passes, the road to the White House is getting a lot less crowded. Let’s just be honest though, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are soon to be the only two drivers left. Tuesday night’s primaries knocked out Marco Rubio and basically took away any realistic path to the nomination for […]

Donald Trump says his rallies are not violent. In fact he calls them lovefests. But, his rally in Chicago last Friday night looked more Jerry Springer Showish than lovefestish. Just two days before that a black protestor being escorted out of his rally in North Carolina was sucker punched by a white 78-year old […]

Most people had all but counted out Bernie Sanders, except for himself, except for the people of Michigan. Hillary Clinton was supposed to win the wolverine state handily, by at least 30 points; at least the polls said so. But the voters said another thing and handed Bernie Sanders a surprising upset. As expected, […]

Sunday night was my big chance to ask the Democratic presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, extended questions about race, inequality and criminal justice reform. Don Lemon: “As a black man in America, if I were born today I’d have a one in three chance of ending up in prison in my […]

In 2008 it was all about Reverend Jeremiah Wright and race. Fast forward to 2016 and the issues are pretty close, except this time it’s worse. This time immigrants, Muslims, women, race and the KKK are now front and center with a vengeance. Here’s Donald Trump responding to a question about The Ku Klux […]

If the pen is mightier than the sword then the tongue is mightier than a hashtag. I’m talking about Chris Rock’s mouth and the Oscar So White hashtag. Rock took on the Hollywood establishment on Sunday night, and of course it came with a heavy degree criticism like: -He crossed a line. -He didn’t […]

The summer of 2014 was the summer of unrest. Even those of us who were in the trenches in Ferguson covering the protests, marches and the violence, had no idea that all of the aforementioned would become such a significant part of the public consciousness. What to do about confrontations between the police and […]
