Mariah  The Scientist doesn’t look like he is leaving Thug anytime soon. The holidays might be a time for family and eggnog, but for Mariah the Scientist and Young Thug, it seems they came with a side of drama The internet went crazy after rumors surfaced that the two were spending quality time together over the holiday season after his jail house fiasco. While details remain as unclear as Mariah’s next album release date, social media has been working overtime trying to piece it all together.

Just days before Christmas, old footage from 2022 resurfaced showing Thug on a video call during a conjugal visit with Leena Sayed, a model who’s currently expecting a child with boxer Devin Haney. The conversation was cozy enough to raise eyebrows, considering Thug was reportedly dating Mariah during that time. Naturally, Twitter detectives lost their minds, questioning Thug’s loyalty and how many “twins” he really has.

But in true Thugger fashion, he didn’t shy away from the drama. On Christmas Eve, the “Business Is Business” rapper took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to issue a public apology to Mariah. “Sorry to my baby for all this b******* on the internet. I love u baby and f*** em all we know what’s up with us!” Thug wrote. Not stopping there, he added, “She so mad, I said merry Christmas and she said thank u .”

Meanwhile, Sayed cleared the air, firmly declaring her loyalty to Haney, calling him her “baby daddy” and brushing off any speculation about her connection to Thug. Still, the situation left fans side-eyeing Thug’s claim that Sayed was just his “twin.” (Since when did “twin” become code for conjugal visits?)

Despite the chaos, it seems Mariah might still be standing by her man. After all, she supported Thug through his high-profile YSL trial and even earned a hoodie shoutout that read, “I Love Mariah.”
