Birthdays are meant to be celebrated. Guy is going over the hill and he’s preparing himself, that way he won’t be surprised when he wakes up one day and is 50. He’s already an “old soul,” like he’s “been here before,” so the only issue is that the number is just not in the ’40s anymore.
