Don’t call it the Church of Beyonce just yet.

Beyonce just purchased a building in New Orleans that formerly used to be a church. The stone structured, 7,500 sq. ft former house of God in The Big Easy now belongs to Queen Bey. The building, which is more than 100 years old, was listed at $850,000 but it’s unclear whether or not the world’s most famous pop star got a discount on the property.

It’s not too far from where little sister Solange stays and the church wasn’t occupied. It had been out of commission as a place of worship for quite some time considering that members of the church had passed away.

By the way, Beyonce purchasing this church is nothing like the so-called “Church of Beyonce” in San Francisco. A congregation held mass a few weeks ago were over 900 people showed up.
