Prince

On April 21, Prince’s Paisley Park Museum will put on a concert called Prince: Live on the Big Screen at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Pagesix reports that a press release from Paisley Park says the concert will have a, “newly remastered and never before seen released audio and video of Prince accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a supergroup of musicians who performed alongside Prince throughout his legendary career.”

It continues, “The live experience will showcase Prince in his own inimitable sound and style, highlighting the incendiary energy he brought to each performance.”

The audio and video will come from Prince’s vault. There has been no word on which musicians will be in the show.

In an interview with Variety, Paisley Park explained that the concert would have, “ Prince on the screen and the musicians live in front of him on stage.”

The concert comes as part of the “Celebration 2018” concert that will honor Prince through a four-day event April 19-22.
