Rev. Al Sharpton: ‘The Hypocrisy Of The Supporters Of Roy Moore’

Dismiss

Five more women have come forward claiming Alabama Republican Senate runner Roy Moore sexually assaulted them as teenagers. Despite calls for Moore to step down, he refuses to leave the race.

As horrible as that is, Rev. Al Sharpton was appalled at the U.S. government and evangelical ministers.

“When you see these patterns and these real intense descriptions you’ve got to say this guy should not be in the U.S. Senate, ” explained Sharpton.

Even worse is how evangelical ministers have gone to bat for Moore. “It seems that there is no low-level that they will go to protect Republicans,” explained Sharpton.

“What is most alarming to me is the hypocrisy of the evangelical ministers,” who claim that the Virgin Mary was with Joseph at the age of 13,” expressed Sharpton. “It’s one thing to defend people but it’s another thing to undo the immaculate inception of Jesus Christ.”

  1. The hypocrisy of politicians who pretend to be our “friends” but “Sell us down the River” is also disturbing. Congress, STOP punishing us working stiffs with the personal income tax. Replace it with a 1% federal tax on stocks, bonds, cash deposits, and real estate. You rich folks can’t hide ALL your real estate on a small island off the British Isles or in the Caribbean! “It is easier for a camel to go through the Eye of the Needle, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
The resignation of Richard Cordray as head of the CFPB is bad news for US. Richard Cordray is a good man, and continued in the same spirit that motivated Senator Elizabeth Warren to fight for the establishment of the CFPB. Congress, what is so bad about protecting us consumers from money-grubbing, cheating, greedy, swindling business practices? Congress gives approval for banks to charge $35 for a 33 CENT overdraft. Happened to me two weeks ago. Credit cards can charge you almost $100 in monthly fees if your monthly autopay is declined due to low monthly balance in your bank account? This happened to me 8 years ago with my Chase credit card—CFPB solved the problem, and saved me almost $2000 in unfair but LEGAL (thanks to our “friends” in Congress) fees and penalties. To their credit, Chase wrote me a letter of apology and refunded all the fees and penalties, but remember that OUR members of Congress made it legal for them to pile on the fees in the first place. The CFPB is one of the very few government agencies that does a good job for us po’ folks, us working-class stiffs who are honest and want to pay our bills, but who have low incomes and get stuck with all sorts of fees and penalties from banks, credit cards, and everyone else. My friend Rusty Potter and I called this “the bankers’ tax on the poor” when we protested against Roanoke, VA’s Dominion Bank’s (now owned by Bank of America) high overdraft fees 30 years ago.

That is outrageous!!! When the virgin Mary MARRIED Joseph she was very young. But note they were MARRIED. Joseph didn’t corner her away from her parents and fondle her and force her to take his manhood into her mouth. Whatever Mary’s age, the man that knew her did so after he took her as his wife until death did they part. Was Roy Moore offering any of these baby girls marriage and life with him as their husband? Oh, I think NOT!!!! He was just a NASTY OLD MAN trying to take advantage of these young girls!

  3. Some of those Bible thumping so called “Christian’s” are the biggest HYPOCRITES
    where politics are concerned.

Many harbor serious HATRED towards others who do not LOOK like THEM.

As for Roy Moore-he is a RACIST Turd from Alabama. His supporters are no doubt the same
trailer trash and Rednecks who supported and STILL SUPPORT CHUMP.

Amerykah can do so much better than this–damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!
