When it comes to relationships, should you talk or text? Most people, in the cell phone-obsessed world we live in now, find it just easier and more expedient to communicate via text. And that works fine when it’s a quick ‘I Love You’ or “WYD” text or exchanging details about when and where to meet.

But what about when things are more serious – a conflict, a breakup or makeup or a serious conversation that needs to be had. Would you talk or text?

The ladies of The RealTamar Braxton, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry Hounsley, Loni Love and Adrienne Bailon debated this topic on a recent show. Not sure if they came to any consensus, but here’s their take.

What’s yours? Talk or text?

Text should only be used to make quick statements: “I’m on my way”, “meet at 6”, “I’m outside”, “I’m busy”, “call you later” etc…

This generation generation is quickly becoming the generation of nothingness. Can’t spell, write or figure out simple math without some electronic assistance. If you have to ask someone whether they need to talk or text about a serious issues, they’ve got to be an idiot. I wish we could go back 30 years when people actually had to use their brains to perform tasks.
