PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a man and a woman are facing charges after a first-grader took 11 packets of heroin to a Philadelphia school.

School officials say 20 students, the entire first grade class, at Barry Elementary School in the city’s Cobbs Creek section were taken to a hospital after a teacher saw a 6-year-old girl playing with one of the packets.

No injuries were reported, although police say one of the packets appeared to have been bitten and a girl was complaining of stomach pains.

Police and prosecutors said Wednesday that 28-year-old Christopher Troy-Jenkins White and 32-year-old Marie Hunter are charged with endangerment and narcotics possession.

Listed phone numbers for White and Hunter can’t be found. It’s unclear whether they have attorneys.

I’m guessing they don’t go to many PTA meetings, open houses, or parent conferences. Newsflash: Slow people have children, too.

Hey don’t worry Chris and Marie our Attorney General Holder supports reduced drug sentencing so you’ll probably only do a few weeks in jail then you can go back to raising your kids after all this was a nonviolent incident

So sad that this child is being raised in this enviornment where she is being exposed to drugs.

This is not what SHOW AND TELL is supposed to look like!!!

Lock up both of these cretins and through aways the keys.

Hopefully, some family members will take custody of this little girl so that she does not wind up in the child welfare system!!!!
