Multiple sources are confirming to People that Lamar Odom and Kim Kardashian are living separate lives and “haven’t spoken in days” as the athlete continues his struggle with substance abuse – and a recent DUI charge.
“They’re separated for the moment,” says the source. “Khloé is spending many nights at her mom’s house and Lamar is at his place [in] downtown [L.A.]”
Another source – a friend of Kardashian – says pals of Odom, who had publicly admitted to using drugs in 2001, “thought Khloé saved him. But in reality she never even knew about his drug issues.”
“The whole situation is so sad,” the friend continues. “She wants to save her marriage, but Lamar doesn’t and he’s not in his right mind to do so. So what can Khloé do?”
Echoes another source, who is a longtime Kardashian family friend: “I believe Lamar is the one who wants out [of the marriage]. It’s not looking good.”
Meanwhile, professionally it’s business as usual for Kardashian, who has been shooting scenes for “Keeping up with the Kardashians” and posting smiling photos of herself online.
