NEW YORK (AP) — From New York to California, demonstrators are rallying against a Florida verdict acquitting George Zimmerman in the death of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin.

Protests are planned in cities including Boston, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco on Sunday, a day after a jury found the former neighborhood watch volunteer not guilty. The case unleashed debate across the U.S. over racial profiling, self-defense and equal justice.

Civil rights leaders, including the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, have urged peace. Jackson says the legal system “failed justice,” but violence isn’t the answer.

After the verdict, some angry protesters in Oakland, Calif., broke windows, burned flags and started small street fires. In Florida, about 200 demonstrators marched in Tallahassee carrying signs that said “Racism is Not Dead” and “Who’s Next?”

Please, Please Help us! In the February 14,2013 Wayne County Newspaper,( Front Page) It tells of the school violations and bullying and harassment my children have suffered in the WCSD,Mississippi. But, it did not mention that the latest of those threats were from the school KKK note. Now, this same girl where two knifes were found on her is back at school and sitting behind my child on their bus.
This is not the first racial discrimination . My kids have a right to a safe school environment.
The WCSD said they would handle it and they would prosecute and she would not be back on that campus. They would not tell me one court date no notification, just it’s been handled. 911 did not even send an officer at my request the day of.
The children are shocked and scared. I beg for justice. I do not know why help for justice is so hard. They are not going back to school until they are represented. This is sad that anyone would think we are okay with this.

  2. JanCorey, obviously you are here just to antagonize and generate negativity. You have not made one intelligent or truthful statement in any of your numerous posts. This case was a setup from the beginning. It is part of the plan to control you lemmings that allow the media to control your thoughts. The Florida state legislators and law enforcement offices were pissed that the Federal government (Obama administration and FBI) was called in because the failed to do their jobs (provide equal protection under the law). They filed charges (2nd degree murder) they KNEW they could not prove and they selected a jury they KNEW could/would not convict. Furthermore, the gun control debate is also a hot button issue for which a conviction in this case would have added fodder to the gun control supporters arguments. Honestly, I feel sorry for GZ for the things to come. If GZ would have apologized with sincerity and showed a bit of remorse, public sentiment might have been a little different. White supremacy wins again but a day of reckoning is coming. You better hope you’re on the right side…

PJ, I have never sought out to antagonize anyone contrary to your alleged allegation in your last rant/attack. Your jealousy of people that are better-informed than you is quite apparent. Try instead PJ, to just deal with the facts of this case instead of relying upon your jealousy and ignorance relative to the actual facts of this case. Your conduct is something similar to what I imagine Trayvon would have done if he had lived after he so viciously attacked Mr. Zimmerman, If I had been there, the coroner would have had less mass to deal with for their report than what Mr. Zimmerman did in response to his beating. Maybe that would have been a cheaper burial expense if there was little left fin body mass due to extensively more damage, but, that’s just pure speculation.

      • Complete imbecile! Actually, sort of funny! Dear JanCorey, there is a difference between being jealous and being envious, and neither one of those terms apply to me. The Internet, you gotta love it!

PJ, you may be right that you are complete imbecile, at least if you compare your rants and attacks against the proven facts of this case. I just choose to deal with the facts of this case and try to answer questions of people who are interested in learning about this case and not responding to your troll-ish misconduct. George Zimmerman is not guilty of every negative attack you have said thus far. Try, instead, to set your emotions aside and focus in on the facts of this case because then you may feel better about this case and feel better about not appearing so rude and vigilante-style imo.

They might as well do some rallies because it’s the weekend and the welfare offices don’t open up again until Monday morning.

Jan Corey, you give the notion to be representing the wounded warrior project….well I represent my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ….be careful of the shabby remarks you making towards individuals that you know nothing about…check the facts about who’s really benefiting from welfare. I pray that you would allow God to use you to be a blessing and not a curse to your brothers and sisters….God created us all equally and this is only portion of what most Americans are truly fighting for….equality…

Many people are scared by the facts of this case, especially the poorly educated people and thanks for proving me correct, Zeida, much appreciated.

I pray that God will heal your body, mind and spirit….in Jesus name “Amen”….your wounds are very deep, and your expressing the negative stereotypes during the outcome of this tradegy
is sad….learn to use your time for good so that you can prosper…the seeds you sow, you shall reap….

Zelda, the only tragedy in this case, imo, is the charges against George Zimmerman for defending himself from an attack by an illegally-high young punk.
