A Canadian dance studio is now offering pole dancing; not for mommy, but for kids.
Duncan's Twisted Grip Dance and Fitness Studio in Vancouver welcomes children as young as five-years-old to enroll in their new pole dancing course. Kristy Craig, the studio’s owner finds no problem with getting the kids to take a spin.
"There is nothing provocative. There is nothing sexual about it … It's pure fitness and strength and fun. I mean kids love climbing trees. They will climb anything,” Craig said.
Craig claims she’s already had four children sign up for the class including a little boy.
Pole dancing is currently being reviewed as a new competitive sport with a possible Olympic division in 2016. Children as young as seven-years-old are participating in national tournaments in countries like Russia.
