Columbus Short and Karrine Steffans made headlines this week after she accused him of cheating on her with other women. Since then, both have commented on the breakup further, with Short stopping by Sirius/XM’s The Heat to speak with host Dion Deezy about all of the drama surrounding his ‘fake’ marriage to Karrine.

When talking to Dion, he clarified Dion’s use of the term ‘wife’ when talking about Karrine. “When we say ‘wife,’ we wanna keep that term loose,” said Columbus.

There’s no such things as a “loose wife”…unless she’s hoe? Right?

When Steffans learned her ex was claiming their marriage wasn’t real, she decided to post a cropped photo of a marriage license with Short’s name on it, but it didn’t show her name, nor the date of marriage. The image was soon deleted, but Steffans didn’t stop there. Somehow, in one lengthy Instagram post, she managed to offer him support and put him on blast at the same time.

Karrine wrote:

“IN RESPONSE TO STATEMENTS MADE BY @officialcshort ON SIRIUS RADIO: Drug and alcohol addiction is a serious issue that affects families and marriages worldwide. It breeds violence and lies, resentment and hate. It hurts. I love my husband and as always, I will and do forgive him for all his poor decisions.

Some addicts refuse treatment at the urging of family and friends when done in private, and only seek help when brought to task publicly–when the public charade has been unveiled. Sometimes, this is the only way to save a life. My husband’s issues have been public knowledge for years, and yes, I chose love to him anyway. It is my sincerest hope that @officialcshort gets the professional help he needs and I will be there to support him when or if he does.

Back in February, during an interview with Roland Martin, Short was asked about his recent “marriage” to Karrine, which he gushed about, and pretty much claimed she was the best thing to ever happen to him. Is anyone stunned by the news of their break-up now? Doubtful.

Some folks even allege that Short and Steffans plotted this arrangement and break up so they could secure a realty TV show deal. I wouldn’t put such as scheme pass Karrine. Scheming is how she keeps the checks rolling in, right?

What do you guys think of their mess? Legit or PR stunt?
