Usher has been tapped to sing the National Anthem in front of his own NBA team.
The NBA announced that he and the country group Rascal Flatts will belt the Star Spangled Banner at Games 3 and 4, respectively, both of which will take place in Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena, home of the Cavaliers.
Usher, though not from Ohio, has been part owner of the Cavs since 2005.
The Cavs will face the Western Conference’s Golden State Warriors.
Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus, two thirds of country supergroup Rascal Flatts, are both Ohio natives, so the performance represents something of a homecoming for the group.
The games will air at 9 p.m. ET on ABC this Tuesday (June 9) and Thursday (June 11).
