It’s definitely time. According to NY Daily News, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao both want to fight each other… like they really, REALLY want it!

Nevertheless, contract demands and egos have prevented the match in the past. But Mayweather initiated a recent conversation about facing Pacquiao on May 2 of 2015.

“You lost twice and now you’re coming back begging for the same money?” Mayweather said. “That’s not gonna happen.”

Mayweather definitely wants his way when it comes to facing off with Pacquiao. He blamed Pacquiao’s manager Bob Arum for ruining negotiations for a fight.

“Floyd Mayweather is not ducking or dodging any opponent,” Mayweather said. “Bob Arum is stopping the fight. We have been trying to make this fight happen for many years behind the scene.”

“He’s desperate,” Mayweather added. “I wanted that fight a long time ago. I’m just waiting on them.”

Mayweather really wants to get Pacquiao in the ring, but it seems as though many obstacles have gotten in the way. Mayweather believes Pacquiao could test positive for PEDs, which is why he doesn’t want to take drug test and hence, fight with Mayweather as of now.

Mayweather went as far as offering Pacquiao $40 million in order to negotiate a fight, which he refused. Nevertheless, it could be the highest-grossing fight ever.

“I know that he’s not on my level,” Mayweather said. “The fans would love to see the fight.

And, of course, I want to go out with a bang.”
