I’ve found that the one major downfall of travel is the inability to maintain your routine. This is especially true with working out. Since it can be so hard to stay moving and motivated while airport hopping, this week I’ve teamed up with Zumba expert Crystal Wall who gives us five exercises that can (and will) be done absolutely anywhere!
Jumping Jacks
Jumping jacks is a great exercise for warming up your body as well as increasing flexibility and blood circulation. These simple jumps give you a full body workout.
Push Ups
These can be done pretty much anywhere, especially the airport. People will look at you with curiosity, but at least you’re focused on your fitness! These target biceps, triceps, upper back, and core.

Target your buns and quads with these squats. Simply press your back flat against the wall, slowly bend your knees to 90 degrees as you slide your back down the wall. Hold for 20 seconds and repeat.
Make Your Own Weights
If you’re traveling with kids, use your little ones as weights and try picking them up and down for 12 reps. Repeat. Your body and your kids will love you for it!
Seated Crunches
Pull your abdominal muscles in toward your spine. Put your hands behind your head. Exhale as you bring opposite elbow to knee. This can even be done while you’re in flight!
