33-year-old Florida native Nora Silva was arrested this week after she allegedly stabbed two teens with a box cutter who were bullying her sons.
According to ABC News’ Orlando WFTV, Silva’s 17-year-old and 14-year-old sons were getting off the bus in their neighborhood when approximately 12 boys surrounded the boys and pummelled them to the ground.
Reportedly, Nora and her 63-year-old mother, Esther Silva, attempted to break-up the scuffle. Esther told WFTV, she yelled to the boys, “You are not going to hit my grandson” before she defended her grandsons by stabbing two of the boys with a box cutter.
However, police believe Esther is taking responsibility for the stabbing but believe Nora was the assailant.
According to one of the victims, “I got him [one of Silva's son] on the ground and started punching him, and then she [Nora Silva] came from behind and just stabbed me in the back,” reports WFTV.
The two stabbed teenagers were taken to the hospital, treated, and released.
Silva was charged with aggravated child abuse. (Watch the full report above)
