Comedian Gary Owen has made his living being the coolest white comic that black audiences love. So if you’ve got Showtime, you might want to plop yourself in front of the TV tonight or at least set your DVR. Tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Owen will bring his brand of side-splitting comedy to the stage with “True Story.”

Shot a Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, Owen shares stories of his life growing up in a trailer park and his confusion about black culture, like the fact that at Black pool parties, nobody actually swims.

Watch Gary Owen talk Black pool parties in “True Story”  below.

If you can’t check him out on Showtime, you might be able to catch him on the road.
