Urban One announces the return of the annual URBAN ONE HONORS taping in Atlanta, GA on Friday, December 2, 2022. The two-hour telecast premieres Monday, January 16, 2023, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, on TV One and Cleo TV, a division of Urban One, and will be hosted by R&B singer and actor, Tank.

Outstanding musical performances, praiseworthy acceptance speeches and an unforgettable tribute to International Sweethearts of Rhythm — the band of Urban One Founder Cathy Hughes’ mom, Helen Jones Woods — are just a few things that made the Urban One honors a night we won't soon forget.

The annual Urban One Honors ceremony aired on TV One, May 16, showcasing Black excellence.
