Charlemagne Debates Anderson Cooper About Political Coverage

Charlamagne takes a stance against CNN’s “double standard” in a sit-down with journalist Anderson Cooper. During Thursday night’s live broadcast of Anderson Cooper 360, the discussion grows tense as the two address political media coverage. Radio host Charlamagne tha God questions CNN’s impartiality, saying that there is a “double-standard” in the network’s conversations regarding Donald Trump compared to its conversations regarding Kamala Harris. “It’s crazy because you still don’t have news networks having that conversation, like when somebody says, when somebody questions Kamala Harris’ blackness or is she a DEI hire, you all will have roundtable discussions about that, asking that question…How come we’re not having a roundtable discussion asking is Donald Trump a fascist? Actually not even asking, he’s stating it…How come that is not the topic of discussion on networks like CNN every day?” -Charlamagne tha God

Cooper’s contrary opinion is evident, especially after his use of profanity—saying that Charlamagne’s comments are “bulls***.”
