Comedian Godfrey has been fortunate enough over the years of his career to be mentored by some of the best comedians in the business from Bernie Mac to Bill Cosby.

“He always gave me advice about how to perform being a headliner,” expressed Godfrey about Mac.

Godfrey used to work for Cosby when he was coming up and he remembers going into his office asking him about how to come up with jokes.

“I used to work for Cosby. He gave me advice to,” explained Godfrey. One day Cosby told him over and over again that, “‘You got to put in on paper.'”

Catch Godfrey at the Arlington Improv from May 3-6.

    Insanity, Black folks, means doing
    the same things and expecting
different results .We have got to
STOP doing what we’ve always done:
    March and START doing something
    different: boycott, sue, file HUMAN

Rights are being violated, let”s go
for our HUMAN RIGHTS being violated.
