Mike Epps has without a doubt made a name for himself in the world of comedy. Countless movies, t.v. specials, stand-up, and stand-up gigs along the way filled with memories. He’s chronicled all of it in his new memoir Unsuccessful Thug.
“Yeah man I don’t know if I did it too soon but I did it,” expressed Epps. “I started thinking about it and I said ‘Man God forbid anything happens to me my kids won’t know anything. I’m going to write me something.'”
He’s had many successful shows and the opportunity to have a fan base that really loves him and his work. With all that influence, Epps sees it as nothing short of what God’s allowed him to do.
“I’m not power tripping,” said Epps. “I’m not I’m just doing what God gave me the power to do. I’m just going to enjoy this life and enjoy the moments and be funny.”
