Laz Alonso To Star In Amazon Series ‘The Boys’
Actor Laz Alonso has been cast in a superhero series on Amazon called The Boys.
Deadline reports Eric Kripke the creator of Supernatural wrote the show based off a comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The show will be directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen.
The show is about a world where superheroes turn to the darker side of their fame and fortune. A group of vigilantes known as “the boys” set out to bring down corrupt superheroes.
Alonso will play Mother’s Milk the second in command who’s observant, intelligent as a detective.
