Roland Martin: What Republicans Stand To Lose In Pennsylvania
The Supreme Court recently ruled that the state of Pennsylvania must redraw its congressional maps. A ruling that has angered Republicans has caused them to ask for the impeachment of the state Supreme court judges.
Roland Martin talks with Pennsylvania state Sen. Vincent Hughes about the gerrymandering going in the state of Pennsylvania.
“It’s gangster politics at the highest Roland. They want to impeach the Democratic Pennsylvania Supreme court judges because allegedly some of these judges spoke about the issues of gerrymandering during their campaign,” explained Hughes.
With the ruling coming down, it stands to make the jobs of Republicans very hard in gaining control of vital seats in the house.
“You see all these Republicans around the country dropping out not running for re-election,” explained Hughes. “There’s a growing threat that the Republicans will lose control of the U.S. House of Representatives.”
